It was great to hang out with other LP fans, I laughed a lot. Unfortunately I didn't win at the raffle, so neither a photo with the band nor a backstage tour with Mike for me. But the day was awesome anyway.
At first some of us visited the bus of LP's crew. The bus was cool but the ceiling was too low for me.
After visiting the bus we went back inside and sat down in front of the stage where we waited for Linkin Park. Curiously I wasn't nervous anymore although I've been very nervous in the morning. Hugo and Maurice answered some of our questions, they made jokes and they handed picks out to us. After a while Linkin Park appeared and the Meet & Greet started. I let them sign a flag for another LP fan who couldn't attend the Summit because she's not an LPU member. I gave Chester a letter I've written for the band and I shook hands with Chester, Rob, Phoenix, Joe and Mike but not with Brad because we were told he wouldn't like that very much?!
After the Meet & Greet the tables were beared away and the band sat on their chairs. Chester and Mike were gone for a while but I don't know really why (I had to think about Bennoda
After the Q&A Mike played the guitar and Chester sang "Rolling In The Deep" by Adele. It was so amazing. Of course I already knew his voice is amazing but when you hear him singing without a microphone, without the noises of thousands of fans and only with Mike playing the guitar, it's even more amazing. It was magic. I only could stare at him, he's awesome. The next song was "The Messenger". This time Brad played the guitar. I almost cried when Chester was singing but then he forgot the lyrics and I had to laugh.
Then the band said goodbye and the people who had no ticket for the show (like me) went outside.
It was really a great time, I met nice people and had a lot of fun. I hope there will be another Summit in Germany some day, so that I can attend it, too.
I love Linkin Park.
